nasty thing and something nice... okay here it goes
...... this mech is almost very easy to destroy for reason: -got no satellite radar support(means cannot detect anti tank weapon) -legs are to make them look smart... not cool(legs too big and seems heavy) -yet seems immobile(the legs) -before this thing can stomp my house ill have him awfully finished with my M4-SkySkater(it seems cannot deal with fast mobility air unit)
but why i cant defeat this thing(the nice comment): -i don't have any Rocket launcher -he bears fear from the looks of his rail gun(and he got 4 of it no matter the ammo but it's BIG) -yes he can step on something like house(but what happen if he walked on a platform?) -i never manufacture any of my weapon i have created -awfully this drawing have good shading effect -as a support this thing may be a good choice for infantry combat(genocide)
hi, I I was just looking through all your positive reviews and I thought you might like some constructive criticism!
right off the bat, I'd like to mention how most of your mechs don't have space for both the hips and elbows. on this one, it looks as though the legs are in the same place as the elbows. either that, or the legs are so far back behind the rest of the mech that a bird landing on the gun would tip the whole thing over. you must dedicate space to the legs and space to the orms and make sure they do not conflict with each other! a possible solution for this would be to make wider torsos and shoulders.
and legs, arms, shoulder mounted launchers need to be tones down a bit...
my suggestions? redo the legs entirely. maybe keep the feet, though. those aren't bad. make sure to put plenty of separation between the upper and lower half. if eyes don't see the mechanics, they do not see legs, but L shaped blocks. take out a gun on each arm and maybe the hands, or make the guns look more detachable. the guns definitely need to be slimmed down a bit.try to make the barrels look less pudgy. gatling guns work by getting a lot of air around each individual barrel, and they need some space to do that. make sure to have small, crisp lines and hace all the crircles "facing" the same direction. also make the barrels longer and the body of the guns shorter. although the launchers in the inner shoulder might be able to stay, the launchers in the armpits have to go.once again, if you want this thing to actualy move in the viewer's eye, you have to give him some gears. you could, however, put some more weapons on the area where the torso juts out to make up for losses in firepower... and the outer shoulder launchers...they make me cry. too big! too big! modesty is the key. make em smaller or get rid of them entirely. that would also give you more room to actually put some meat on those shoulders, because they need it. you might try replacing them with a cylinder style launcher with five, maybe ten missile tubes. a thing to keep in mind with a support mech is endurance. yes, that does mean heavy armor, but it also means lots and lots of ammo. having giant missile launchers is great and all, but if they are just one shot and they're done, it's kinda pointless.
you have excellent shading, though. that gets my applause.
this is extremely helpful criticism, especially the bit about object space... I'm not the artist of this piece or anything, but i was able to gain insight from this. Thank you!
It's amazing. All I have to say for now is... the shadow.
